Brian later worked in financial services as a venture capital matching agent helping start-ups locate $130 million in venture funding and he eventually started his own company as a national sales trainer serving the mortgage industry.
Wanting to spend more time with his family, Brian accepted the Executive Director position of Franklin County Chamber
This is my wife, Carol Duvall.
She’s a CPA which makes her a Co-owner and Chief Financial Officer for the company.
Carol graduated from UNC Chapel Hill, N.C. with a BS in Accounting. She served as Auditor for the global accounting firm of KPMG from 1983 to 1985 before she became Vice President in financial reporting at Dominion Bankshares from 1985 to 1988.
Carol transferred to operations when Charlotte, North Carolina-based First Union Corporation bought out Dominion Bankshares in 1988. She worked through a number of mergers during First Union’s aggressive expansion era chose to leave banking for good to raise our children.
When she’s not keeping up with the business finances and filing taxes, she divides her time between raising our three wonderful kids, being a busy foster mom to thee wonderful boys, coaching our daughter’s soccer team, substitute teaching from time-to-time and volunteering at our church. She’s also into horses, kayaking, Scrabble and Spades… and yes, she totally kicks my but at most any game. She’s very competitive, but in a good way.
This is my oldest son, Keith Duvall.
He is our in-house IT Department and a co-owner of the business.
Keith has been working on computers since the age of three… I’m not kidding. Probably one of the smartest people I know, he scored so high on the SAT’s at the he was offered a full college scholarship at age 12. Keith has been providing IT consulting services to area schools, businesses and individuals as well as running a successful Ebay business since the age of 13.
He attended both the Roanoke Valley Governor’s School and the Roanoke School for the Humanities as a freshman and then went on to finish out his high school career at Principia Upper School in St. Louis where he graduated at the top of his class.
Keith entered Principia College in Elsah, Illinois as a Sophomore at age 16. He’s currently a senior at Principia College with a double major in Advanced Mathematics and Physics and provides telemetry and analysis for the internationally recognized Principia Solar Car team.
He provides remote technical support and service for Duvall Consulting and our clients. He also serves as our chief photographer when he’s in town.
This is the artist in the family, Scott Duvall.
He’s an award-winning graphic designer and serves as Production Assistant on most projects. He’s the one who created my Twitter background.
Reed Dillon has had a diverse career in the marketing industry for nearly two decades.
After earning his master’s degree and attending The Portfolio Center in Atlanta, Ga., Dillon worked as a creative at numerous advertising agencies throughout the country. He began directing the marketing activities of Mod-U-Kraf Homes, a systems homebuilder in Rocky Mount, Virginia in 1996. From there he went on to serve as Director of Marketing for Nationwide Custom Homes in Martinsville, Virginia for nine years.
Reed has earned the CMP (Certified Marketing Professional) designation from the National Association of Home Builders and is a member of the Sales and Marketing Community of the Building Systems Council. Reed has won numerous awards and recognition for his various marketing projects.
